I can but agree!

More generally such movies make you feel ill at ease when being alone in the countryside. Buts most of the times crimes occur in the cities, not in the outback...

But for city dwellers an isolated area, like in the plot of All The Boys Love Mandy Lane, is from the start a bit scary in itself.

All the Boys Love Mandy Lane is an upcoming R-Rated horror/thriller film. The film is directed by Jonathan Levine and is starring Amber Heard as Mandy Lane. The release of the movie has not been decided yet for the USA, but it is likely to be screened in August 2008.

"Sixteen-year-old Mandy Lane (Amber Heard) is an unattainable girl, everyone's object of desire. She's in with the cool kids now, and surely they don't want her hanging with the freak. Mandy's new 'friends' invite her out to a family ranch for the weekend and she agrees, seeing it as an excellent opportunity to cement her new friendships. Once at the ranch, all the boys start to make their moves - each one hoping to be the first to attain the unattainable Mandy Lane.
